better be familiar with names and location (position)of:
- the reservoirs of S'pore in pg 39 (tested last time)
- some main areas where there is reclaimed land (e.g. Tuas/Jurong Island)
- the main places on earth with huge forests like Amazon and Congo forests,
the names of continents, oceans and big deserts.(e.g. map in pg 105, 109)

PEOPLE AND THE ENVIRONMENT
- why people spoil the environment (pg100-103)
- hw ppl spoil the environment bcoz of rapid population growth
esp. since 1950(which century?)see pg. 5,49.

Land as a Resource

is the name for a country whose land is carrying the maximum number of
people possible.

- wad is arable land and hw ppl can increase arable land (explain and define
arable land)
How to increase arable land
- not causing erosion by farming on steep slopes
- terracing. hw is terracing done? y ppl in sum countries have to do
